I hope you all are doing well and keeping in good spirits. If not, I hope this blog brings you back to your happy place or at least brings you peace. Let's just put it out there LIFE IS HARD. I hate saying that considering I like to stay in a positive mindset but it is. However, let's take a look at it from a different point of view.
Life Is A Challenge
It's the challenge of getting up and being positive when everything and everyone around you is not. It's the challenge of taking bad news and making it work with instead of against your positive mindset. It's about looking at the small wins. This week I was able to get more legacy pcs out of our fleet and was able to deploy our first Windows 11 laptop. I was able to find some amazing quotes this week to put on my board. One even related to the post I did this week about food.
This weeks quotes on the white board I tried to draw with pictures. The pictures seem to bring more people to the board. To be honest, I am not that good of an artist, but it was fun to watch people stop, look, read and giggle as they left the office.
Solution
There is no real solution to LIFE BEING HARD because it just is. It is how we grow from the difficult times that makes us better stronger people. Being positive all the time can be difficult. Some days are going to be better than others, but that is why we have weekends right?!? The weekends allow us to refocus our efforts around being positive and changing our point of view. It allows us to step away from the stress of our work and remind ourselves of who we really are as people.
It is important, we are more than our job or the people our coworkers see, we are real human beings who struggle with a hard life. Maybe the point of view we should take is to bring our true selves to our work environment instead of guarding ourselves and protect the private self we do not want everyone else to know. Being vulnerable is part of being positive. We have to learn that if we can not share our whole self with others, we can never truly be successful in our life. LIFE IS HARD because we are still being grinded like carbon to be the diamonds we all are so we can shine in the darkness for others.
So LIFE IS HARD, but in the end, you will be a diamond. So keep moving and keep up the small wins because you are the diamond that gives others light to look towards to in their darkness. Shine bright my friends and we will see you on Positive Thoughts Monday.
